Privacy Policy

Overview

TVDJ ("the App") is a live performance tool for video and audio DJs, artists, musicians, VJs, and experimental performers. It is developed and published by DeJahn Bell / FOOD4THOTH ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information related to its use.

TVDJ is a single-user, offline-friendly creative tool. It does not require an account, login, profile, advertising identifier, or internet connection for its core performance workflow. The App is designed so that your creative content remains on your device unless you choose to move, share, export, or back it up through your own device settings or other apps.

Information We Do Not Collect

TVDJ does not collect any of the following:

• Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or other personal identifiers
• Your location data, GPS coordinates, or precise physical location
• Your contacts, calendars, messages, or data from other device apps
• Your device advertising identifiers, such as IDFA
• Usage statistics, analytics events, behavioral data, or tracking data
• Advertising data or cross-app tracking data
• The video files, audio files, samples, clips, or creative content you import into the App
• Metadata contained inside your imported files
• Financial or payment information; App Store purchases are handled by Apple

How Your Data Is Stored

Data created or imported within TVDJ is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard app storage mechanisms. This may include:

• Sample files — video and audio files you import for use inside the App
• App settings and preferences — local settings used to preserve your chosen setup
• Pad assignments and configurations — local information used to remember which clips are assigned to pads

This local data is protected by iOS app sandboxing, which helps prevent other apps from accessing TVDJ's local storage without permission. If your device has iCloud Backup or other system-level backup features enabled, Apple may back up app data according to your device settings and Apple's own policies.

To delete TVDJ data from your device, delete the TVDJ app. Uninstalling the App removes its associated local app data from your device according to normal iOS behavior.

Third-Party Services

TVDJ does not intentionally integrate third-party analytics, advertising, behavioral tracking, or cloud-sync services operated by us. Specifically, the App is not designed to use:

• Analytics or telemetry services such as Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar tools
• Advertising networks or personalized advertising SDKs
• Social media tracking integrations
• Cloud storage or sync services operated by us
• Customer support chat widgets embedded inside the App

The main third-party platform involved with TVDJ is Apple, through the App Store, iOS, and optional Apple device services such as iCloud Backup. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's own policies, including Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

TVDJ is designed as a creative audio/video performance tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the App does not collect personal data, there is no special child-data processing performed by us.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us outside the App, such as through a support email, contact us at food4thoth@proton.me and we will review the request.

App Store and Apple

TVDJ is distributed through Apple's App Store. When you download or purchase the App, Apple may collect and process information related to your App Store account, purchase, device, region, receipts, and payment method according to Apple's own privacy practices. We do not receive your payment card details or personal App Store account information.

Apple may provide developers with aggregated or limited app information, such as sales, download, crash, or performance information through App Store Connect. To the extent Apple provides such information, it is controlled by Apple and handled through Apple's developer systems.

When using a website or web app, your browser, device, internet provider, hosting platforms, and any third-party services used by those sites may process basic technical information needed to load pages. Your Rights

Because TVDJ does not collect personal data through the App, we do not hold app-collected personal data for you to access, correct, export, or request deletion of. Your imported clips and local app settings reside on your device.

You can delete the App and its local data at any time by uninstalling TVDJ from your iPhone. You can also manage iCloud Backup and other Apple services in your iOS device settings.

If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in that message. We use support emails only to respond to your inquiry.

Changes to This Policy

If our privacy practices change in a meaningful way — for example, if a future version of TVDJ introduces optional cloud sync, accounts, analytics, or other network features — this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those changes before or when they are released.

The latest version of this Privacy Policy will be available at https://www.food4thoth.com/TVDJ/tvdj-privacy-policy.html. The effective or last updated date at the top of this page will indicate the latest update.
